OPC Pharmaceutical Joint-stock Company, whose predecessor is Central pharmaceutical factory No 26-OPC established in 1977 by the merger of eight private drug makers in former Saigon.
On the first of April 2002 , the company was transformed from state-owned company into joint stock company and become one of the first privatized companies belonging to Pharmaceutical Corporation � Ministry of Vietnam.
At present, OPC is authorized to produce over 140 products of all kinds, many of those are trusted by the customers in the market in previous years such as �Me Bong Con� Eucalyptus oil, CORTONYL - heart tonic, Ich Mau Extract - remedy for regulating menstruation, etc. accompanied with range of new product such as MIMOSA � sedative tablet, CABOVIS - capsule for heat removal and toxical counteraction, FENGSHI - capsule for rheumatism, LINGZHI- OPC, KIDNEYTON or Kidney-Yin Replenishment pill, etc. Especially, tablet for kidney stone - KIM TIEN THAO with �the old man� brand was one among 10 most prominent events in Pharmaceutical domain in Vietnam in the last few years of the century XX.
